Roebourne Art Development Program

Focusing on four streams that have been designed to meet the artistic, professional, and cultural needs of program participants, the Roebourne Art Development Program covers creative development, skills development, organisational capacity building, and industry engagement for Yindjibarndi and Ngarluma artists in the Roebourne region.

Since 2022, FORM has partnered with Yindjibarndi and Ngarluma art centres and independent artists in Ieramugadu (Roebourne) to develop a program that creates long-term, sustainable creative, cutural and economic development in the region.

Through delivery of workshops, travel and training the program supports increased opportunities for First Nations artists to share culture, earn income from artmaking, and build organisational capacity in ways that matter to them. This program has resulted in a number of public exhibitions, publications, public programming and industry outcomes that have cemented Roebourne's reputation as an exciting hub of contemporary artistic cultural expression on a national stage.
