FORM invites expressions of interest from creative practitioners to help shape the redevelopment of the Kwinana City Centre through an artist-led process.
This is an opportunity to work at the ground level of a precinct’s transformation. Selected artists will establish the design narrative and themes from the outset, positioned as key contributors to the design and experience of the precinct itself. The work you do here won't sit alongside the architecture. It will help shape it. The focus is on meaningful impact over scale: identity, activation, and connection. Artists will be supported to develop ideas that respond directly to place and community, contributing to a city centre that feels distinct, engaging and genuinely owned by the people who use it.
The Opportunity
We are forming a collaborative team of five to lead this vision:
You’ll start with an intensive on-site Creative Strategy workshop in June 2026 to set the agenda, then move into a co-design phase to develop integrated concepts.
The Fee
Who should apply? We want to hear from WA-based artists with a collaborative spirit and a community-engaged practice. We’re especially looking for creatives with a connection to Kwinana or the south metropolitan corridor.
EOI Deadline: 5pm, Tuesday 12 May 2026
