About The Opportunity
FORM Building a State of Creativity Limited (FORM) drives bold, creative transformation in Western Australian communities. We are an NFP, purpose-driven company and we strive to be a leader in developing a vibrant creative economy for the benefit and wellbeing of all Western Australians.
FORM works collaboratively to build a cultural and creative ecology in Western Australia that values artistic excellence, improves arts access for all, and encourages resilient and vibrant communities. Through a process of co-creation, we amplify the voices of Aboriginal people in an expression of their living continuous cultural heritage.
About the role
This is an exciting chance to assist Aboriginal artists to build and grow their creative practice and build trust with the community in the Port and South Hedland region.
As our Technical Specialist you will be a practicing artist and share your skills with our Spinifex Hill Studio Artists. You'll see each artist’s individual practice, technique and creative output grow and develop, and see the direct line between your work and the creation of sale-ready, high-quality artwork.
The role is fixed term, part-time for 7 months, working 30 hours per week.
